Many Italian media, including ‘La Gazzetta dello Sport’, ‘Il Corriere della Sera’, televisions such as Sky Sport or Mediaset, and specialized websites such as gpone.com, published the death of the two-time Italian champion last night, causing a great unjustifiable commotion despite that Gresini, in fact, had already been between life and death for several days. Not everyone rectified the news and much less, as did gpone.com or ‘La Gazzetta’, they could apologize “for having participated in the dissemination of a news that was false.”
